About Us

Generations of children have passed through the doors of St John’s. The school has shaped the lives of many young people who have grown up to become successful and respected members of their communities.

 

St John’s is non-selective and aims to give all deserving students the opportunity to achieve their full potential and, in order to provide the best possible environment in which to foster those aims, the Governors are committed to the continuous development of the school’s facilities.

 

The granting of scholarships and bursaries and the physical development of the school is costly and cannot be achieved through fee income alone. The St John’s Foundation was set up in 2008 as a separate charitable body whose main objective is to secure funding to support and improve the school.

 

The Foundation also aims to support  children in the Porthcawl area by awarding grants to local educational charities and community groups that provide services for children.
